Doctoral studies – Start
- Upon successfully passing the entrance exam and following a decision by the Dean on the admission to study, students enrol with the study assistant and they are matriculated by the Dean. On the day of matriculation, there is organised an information workshop which provides general information on the system of studies.
- Simultaneously with the start of their studies, students prepare, under assistance of their supervisors, the Individual Study Plan (ISP – see Article 18 of Study and Examination Regulations of VŠE); the Plan is binding for the entire period of the studies. For the ISP drafting is available a recommended sample study plan.
The doctoral student proceeds with studies in accordance with his or her Individual Study Plan, which he or she prepares together with a supervisor at the beginning of the study and which remains for him or her binding. Information on the system of studies may be found here. Standardised requirements of the Individual Study Plan are listed here.
Instruction videos on how to work with WoS and Scopus databases, prepared by FIS VŠE, are available here.
