Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Application Submission

  • Submit your e-application by the deadline, upload your CV, Passport, and pay the application fee.
  • Provide an email address that will remain active at least until the end of August (preferably a personal one, not a school email).
  • Only one application can be submitted to FFÚ for english programme with one study programme (BIFA/MIFA)
  • Offered study programmes in English: B-BIFA Finance and Accounting, N-MIFA Finance and Accounting
  • Choosing programmes from other VŠE faculties within this FFA application is not permitted.
  • After completing the application and paying the application fee, the application is accepted (closed) and can no longer be modified.

Application Fee

  • The fee is EUR 100 per application. After submitting the e-application, payment can be made by card or bank transfer using a QR code.
  • QR code payments are not immediate; processing may take several days—please pay in advance.
  • If paying by bank transfer, include the variable symbol provided by email. For international payments, also include your name in the “Message to recipient” field.
  • If a lower amount is paid, the applicant will not be registered. The fee is non-refundable. Cash or postal payments are not accepted.

Invitation to Entrance Exams

  • The Entrance Exam case study, instructions and invitation to an online Interview will be sent via e-mail to applicants with completed e-applications after each round of deadlines.

1. Complete e-application.

2. After each deadline, Entrance Exam case studies are sent by email with instructions.

The Entrance Exam case study consists of 2 parts:

  • Economics
  • Finance or Accounting

Submit the Entrance Exam case study by e-mail to mifa@vse.cz.

3. After reviewing submitted Entrance Exam case studies, students are invited for an online interview. During the interview, the case studies and other topics relevant to the MIFA programme are discussed.

4. Passed Entrance Exam

7. Enrolment into the MIFA programme

3,000 EUR per semester. The standard duration of studies is six semesters.

The tuition fee must be paid before the start of each relevant semester. The Prague University of Economics and Business reserves its right to request payment of the tuition fee for the first semester before issuing the confirmation of study acceptance for visa purposes.

If the tuition fee is not paid before the beginning of the semester, the Prague University of Economics and Business reserves the right to terminate the student’s studies.

The total fee per semester does not include any additional bank costs.

BIFA students are eligible for the merit scholarship in the second and third year of the programme, based on their grades in the previous year of the study in the programme.

Students receive a scholarship if their overall grade average for the previous academic year does not exceed 1.3, they obtain the required number of credits, and meet additional conditions set by the Dean.

Deadline for scholarship request: September 30 of the Academic Year.

MIFA students are eligible for ACCA Accelerate programme, seucring discounts and exemptions from up to 4 ACCA Exams.

Students may opt for an Internship during the 3rd semester of the MIFA programme.

The internship process is individual. Students find their internships individually and may receive support from the Faculty by receiving a recommendation letter. The internship must be at least 3 months long to receive the 24 ECTS. The Internship must be in the countries participating in the Erasmus+ programme, including the Czech Republic.
