Doctoral studies – State Doctoral Exam  

For all study programmes, the state doctoral exam (SDE) is held within the summer semester at the end of September and in the winter semester during January and February. The student must take the SDE sufficiently in advance of his or her dissertation’s defence so that the result of the SDE can be attached to the application for defence of the dissertation. The student must apply for the SDE no later than one month prior to the expected date of the SDE.

SDE dates 

Accounting and Corporate Financial Management: end of January / beginning of February 2021 

Finance: end of January / beginning of February 2021 

Students submit an application signed by their supervisor and the guarantor of the field (including all additional documents, i.e. an overview of publishing activities confirmed by the supervisor and the supervisor’s report on the scientific activity of the applicant) to the research and doctoral study officer no later than 1 month before the date of SDE.
